MOLECULE-SURFACE DYNAMICS
About
Our catalysis research uses classical and quantum dynamics methods to understand, at a fundamental level, the elementary steps of heterogeneous catalytic processes: adsorption, diffusion, and reaction at surfaces and interfaces.
One ongoing initiative in this area is Embedded exact quantum dynamics for water splitting, part of the Excellence in Africa (EXAF) program, which develops multi-scale quantum dynamics methods to study the photochemical processes behind photocatalytic water splitting.
